Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is part of the larger Virunga Conservation Area, bordering Rwanda and DR Congo. It is one of the two parks in Uganda where you can trek mountain gorillas. What makes Mgahinga unique is the opportunity to track endangered golden monkeys, a vibrant primate species found only in the Virunga mountains. The park also offers challenging hikes up its three dormant volcanoes: Mount Muhabura, Mount Gahinga, and Mount Sabyinyo.
